Focus, Write and Be (9/23/22)

Does the sun ever position itself in just the right spot? It doesn't blind you when you drive during golden hour or in the window to warm you up? Well for me, the sun fixed itself directly in front of stoplights. I notice small details like this when I drive or turn my music down to hear the road. I'm discovering new music, even if it's not as quickly as I would like it to be. Those small moments when you're by yourself, the playlist lifts your soul and you just sing. To no one in particular but yourself. Full of spirit that only a few people have really seen. Understanding that life is not the next thing to do on your endless list. It's meeting people, going to places you usually wouldn't find yourself at and surrounding yourself that bring happiness, inspiration and income. My roommate and I decorated for fall recently. It's my favorite season. I love when leaves change to fall colors and everything smells like cinnamon and crispness. It's the halfway point in my semester and I'm grateful that my fall break is coming up sooner than I expect. Everything has felt crazy trying to manage my time, but I'm planning fun things with friends as well. Dividing work time versus time to relax and enjoy myself is still something I'm working on. For now, as of these moments currently, I feel secure in myself. Rest is productive, I'm getting my work done, enjoying my time with my friends watching new shows and participating in how I want to live my life.
