November 1st: A Manifestation of Good Vibes

Hey there. You don't know me and that's okay. I'm still trying to find that out myself, actually. What I've come to realize ever since moving out of my house is how much freedom there is in the choices one makes. How often they sleep or work out or take care of themselves. It's so easy to slip away from caring about our well-being and mental health.
The slope of negativity never seems to smooth out. It doesn't take much for a good day to become a bad one. And it absolutely sucks when nothing seems to be worth it or you don't feel productive.
But...staying alive is productive. Breathing and remaining a human is so much more than we give it credit for.
I found/took four pictures today that made me genuinely smile. Writing is what makes me want to get up in the morning, and I'm sure it's like that for most of you. I want to use this blog to talk about mental health, especially among young artists. It's important to step back and realize how far you've come in your journeys.

It doesn't take much to find the good. Something as simple as a root beer float made from the ice cream in a college dining hall or your favorite strings of lights. One day at a time to spot the small things that remind us of how incredible it is that we live together as one on this earth.
Get a glass of water and some sleep because you deserve all the love you express <3
